Embracing a New Beginning – Aldina Duarte Ramos
After a fulfilling 15-year tenure as the Global Wellness Director for Accor Hotels, I find myself at a pivotal moment, ready to embrace a new start. This transition, from a secure role in a well-established company to the uncharted waters of entrepreneurship, is both exhilarating and daunting. Yet, it’s a step that is essential, not just professionally, but personally as well.
The moment of truth
I participated in the Equip Hotel discussion on wellness. It was an interesting panel moderated by Amandine Dubessay, president of the Club Tourisme et Management at HEC Paris, and Heidi Miller, an entrepreneur and consultant in the hospitality and restaurant sector. My fellow panelists were Jean-Louis Poiroux, the founder of Cinq Mondes, and Olivier Petit, a partner at In Extenso Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.
